This is the weighted sum of individual interest rates, as at the end of the reporting period, on any new interest-bearing liabilities, other than deposits and debt securities, issued during the reporting period, where the weights used are the corresponding balances expressed as a share of the total balance. The interest rate is the contractual rate to be paid to or received by the customer/counterparty/debtholder.
